Lobbyists for Romney!

Are you a “Young Professional for Romney” in DC? Have $5,000 to spare? Then this event is perfect for you:

PI SCOOP… PORTMAN, RYAN HEADLINE ROMNEY YP EVENT: The official invite is out for the June 25 Young Professionals for Romney fundraiser, inviting ‘Supporters of All Ages’ to a reception at the rooftop of The Homer Building with special guests Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.). The event has already drawn dozens of co-chairs and hosts and will likely raise more than $240,000. Downtowners signing on were all ages, including Kevin O’Neill of Patton Boggs, Stephen Replogle of Cove Strategies, Dirk Van Dongen of National Association of Wholesale-Distributors, Joe Wall of Goldman Sachs and David Tamasi of Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communications. Each pledged to give or raise $5,000. The invite lists more than 100 hosts, including Erskine Wells and Loren Monroe of the BGR Group, Scott Kamins of the Prime Policy Group, Mat Lapinski of SNR Denton and Mike Zarrelli of Alticor. Each pledged to give or raise $1,000.

A few of the folks listed have already bundled big bucks for Romney’s campaign. And 100 hosts at a DC event? That’s a lot of lobbyists.
