Mitt Romney wants to weaken the EPA. In June, Scotts Miracle-Gro gave the Romney-aligned Restore Our Future super PAC $200,000, saying it was a business decision. On Friday, that company was fined $12.5 million for toxic birdseed (among other things).
If you can’t follow the law, might as well try to elect someone who will change it, right?
